Monadnock Hike Information

June 11th at 8:00 am - Monadnock State Park (Marlboro Trailhead)

Hello All,

Thanks to all the YW, parents, leaders, and escorts that helped us summit Mt. Monadnock yesterday.  It was misty and foggy/cloudy, and a bit slippery, but otherwise fairly pleasant conditions.

We brushed in and left the White Dot trail trashless.  Great success!  The Park Ranger was very pleased with our work!  Excellent work on your cheerful and thorough service.

Also, parents/adult hikers--please turn in your Admission receipts (with your name and ward on the back) to one of the following individuals and we will get you reimbursed:

Susie Mackay
Heidi Kitchen
Susan Gustafson
Frank Greco
Ruth Margetts

For those of you 4th years who were not able to attend yesterday or if you would like to get in another training hike, there is one more opportunity to hike with escorts (other than your family).

On Saturday, June 11 at 8:00 a.m. we will meet at the Marlboro Trailhead to hike Mt. Monadnock.  The following individuals must hike Mt. Monadnock before joining the Mt. Washington hike.

Victoria Ortiz-Kim (Lowell)
Kimberly Lopez-Carrasco (Merrimack)

Please remember to wear NO COTTON--EVER!!  Not even your undies!

Best,
Sis. Margetts
